Rene Pride Rainbow Kangaroo Leather Bracelets

I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite designs, the Rene Pride Rainbow Bracelet.  This bracelet is meticulously handcrafted from soft, yet strong, genuine kangaroo leather lace over a cowhide base.  The Rene Pride Rainbow Bracelet offers a delicate, yet strong pride accessory, and is designed and handcrafted to provide a lifetime of pleasure - both to look at and wear!!

Just looking at this bracelet you can appreciate it's beautiful design and expert craftsmanship.  No shortcuts are taken to create a Rene Pride Rainbow Bracelet.  The 5-oz veggie tanned cowhide leather base is hand cut, edges beveled, burnished and dyed to ensure a beautiful finish.  The cowhide base is expertly wrapped and a laced braid created with 3/32-inch kangaroo leather lace.  The bracelet measures about 5/8 inches wide and the laced braid rises to about 1/4-inch high including the base.  For a more dramatic Rene Pride look, a 1/8-inch wide lace is available for the laced braid.

Each colour of the Pride rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet) have been nestled into the center of a black-laced braid.  Leather dressing has been massaged into the leather to produce a beautiful leather luster and gives added protection to your accessory.  A strong, silver coloured, secure snap effectively closes the Rene Pride Rainbow Bracelet.  Yes, this bracelet took time to make for you!!

I exclusively use kangaroo leather lace for my braiding, knotting and lacing projects.  Kangaroo is one of the strongest lightweight leathers available today, and yet is soft, flexible and abrasion resistant.  A perfect gift for yourself or someone special!!

To provide a comfortable, custom fit for your bracelet, I will require the circumference measurement of your wrist.  Please use a cloth measuring tape to ensure accuracy and advise if you prefer a tight, medium or loose fit.  I will make sizing adjustments for you.  It will take about three days to professionally handcraft your bracelet for you.

I designed the Rene Pride Bracelet as a way to give back to people and a community that had such a dramatic affect on me as an individual and how I perceived my own abilities as a leathercrafter.  I participated in my first Pride Picnic with a Knotty Linda vendor booth in Victoria several years ago.  That day, I met so many encouraging people who were so openly enthusiastic, supportive and excited about my work that I was simply overwhelmed.  It was at a time in my business life that I really needed some sincere encouragement!  After this Pride Picnic I went into my workshop, and after what seemed like so many failures, the Rene Pride Bracelet was created.
