Why do you exclusively use kangaroo leather lace?
There are many reasons why I exclusively use kangaroo lace for my braiding, knotting and lacing projects.
Most importantly, kangaroo leather lace is one of the strongest leathers available. Technically, the superior strength of the leather is ensured by the structure of it's fibers that run horizontally. This amazing strength is not weakened by a necessity of having to split the leather, as the leather is already thin enough to be flexible and lightweight. This makes kangaroo leather lace perfect for braiding and knotting decorative jewelry, clothing, accessories, whips and floggers.
For me, its simple. I can pull really hard on each strand of leather lace when braiding or knotting and be confident that the leather won't break - ensuring that I don't ruin an expensive project or waste valuable time. The amazing strength of kangaroo leather lace can withstand the test of pulling, as well as the test of time.
For my customers, they know that they are purchasing a soft, strong, lightweight, abrasion-resistant leather project offered in a wide variety of beautiful colours.
I say "once you braid with roo, you'll never do moo!"

Can I get my Bracelet Wet?
During the construction process of your fashion accessory, I massage in a conditioner to provide excellent protection for your leather. If treated carefully, your bracelet will last a life time. However, wearing your fashion accessory in the shower every morning, or at the beach on your two-week vacation, will result in disappointment - for both you and me!
Although I apply a protective coating to cowhide cuffs and bases for the laced bracelets, waterproofing has to be applied on an ongoing basis to be effective. If you do get your leather wet, I'm told that massaging in a non-solvent leather conditioner. while the leather is still damp, will help to replace the oils that the water washed away.
All of the fashion accessories I make come complete with a secure fastener so that the item can be removed to prevent exposure to water.
