Each Rene Bracelet is meticulously hand-laced by Linda Brown of Sooke, British Columbia, from genuine, soft-yet-strong, kangaroo leather lace to create a stunning, unique, braid.  The bracelet offers a delicate, yet strong accessory, and is designed and crafted to give a lifetime of pleasure - both to look at and wear!

Rene Bracelets are available custom sized, and the brightly coloured 3/32 inch kangaroo leather lace displays beautiful detail.  The basic Rene Bracelet includes your choice of any two colours; one for the wrapped base and one for the top braid.  Colour choices include: Black, brown, green, pink, purple, red, tan, tourquise, white and yellow.  My personal favourite is all black; classy from the boardroom to the bar!

No shortcuts are taken to create a Rene Bracelet.  The four to five-oz vegy tanned cowhide leather base is hand cut, edges beveled, burnished and dyed to ensure a beautiful finish.  The cowhide base is expertly wrapped and a laced braid is created with 3/32 inch kangaroo leather lace, expertly crafted: even tension, consistent and solid.  The bracelet measures about 5/8 inch wide and the laced braid raises to about 1/4 inch high including the base.  For a more dramatic Rene Bracelet, a 1/8 inch wide lace is available for the laced braid.

I exclusively use kangaroo leather lace for my braiding, knotting and lacing projects.  Kangaroo is one of the strongest lightweight leathers available today, and yet is soft, flexible and abrasion resistent.  The superior quality of kangaroo leather ensures excellent value and merits the increased cost of the leather.  Beauty aside, the lace can withstand the test of pulling necessary to create fancy knots and braids - as well as the test of time.

To ensure the correct sizing and customer satisfaction for custom orders, I will require the circumference measure of your wrist.  Please use a tailor's or cloth measuring tape to ensure accuracy, and advise if you prefer a ight, medium or loose fit.  I will make sizing adjustments for you.  If I'm not participating in a vendor booth, it will take only two days to professionally handcraft your bracelet for you.

Each basic Rene Bracelet is hand crafted and available directly from Knotty Linda for only $30.00 Canadian each.  A Rene Rasta is only $33.00 while the Rene Pride retails at only $35.00.  Shipping and handling within Canada is only $2.00 and $3.00 to United States.  Please contact me regarding sales outside of Canada and United States.
